Love this little zebra strips cheese dome - a great way to serve up your little boxes of Camembert cheese or cheese rounds.
It is a nice smaller size - so you don't need a huge cheese to go inside it.
It measures as follows: the base is 8 1/2 inches x 7 1/2 inches. It is 1/2 thick. The ceramic dome is 4 inches in height with a diameter of 5 1/2 inches.
As you can see from my photographs - it is in excellent vintage condition and probably unused. It has a little gold-coloured wire stand area at the front for you to pop your little cheese knife into - it comes with its original knife which fits so nicely into the stand section.
It was made in the 1960s by Wyncraft - and they must have been looking at similar Hornsea zebra stripe items for inspiration. I especially love the little yellow top to the lid knop..
These zebra stripe mid-century kitchen items are just so collectable just now, especially in pristine condition. This is reflected in my asking price.
