This is a nice item for Christmas drinks and formal dining with friends.
On offer is a fine set of FOUR chunky Edinburgh Crystal Iona Pattern whisky glasses. They measure just over 3 3/4 inches in height. The diameter of each is 3 inches. They are in good condition with no condition issues.
The glasses come with a large square spirit decanter with a fancy faceted ball stopper. It is a nice large decanter and would hold lots of your favourite tipple - you could always source another couple of the glasses if you wish to make up a set of six.
The decanter is 9 1/2 inches in height to the top of the stopper. It is roughly 4 inches square. - with no damages or clouding to the interior. I am not sure if the pattern of the decanter is also Iona - but it sits very nicely with them to form an attractive set. I love all the engraved lines on the decanter - these cover most of the base section - and reach nearly to the top of the body.
Again, the decanter is nice and clean with no chips or cracks. The stopper is original to the decanter and fits snuggly.
I am listing the glasses at £10 each and the decanter at a bargain £35. So that totals in at £70. The set will look great at Christmas / New Year for relaxing drinks seated with a couple of friends around an open fire.
