These are a delightful little set of antique 1920s / 1930s Scandinavian gilt silver & enamel demitasse or little espresso spoons.
They are in lovely condition with no damage to the enamel and the gold gilding on each spoon is without wear or loss.
They are generally nice and clean - they come in their original box - which is marked in gold on the silk covering of the lid: Eivind Andersen Juviler & Gullsmed, Tønsberg.
Each spoon is marked on the reverse NH 925 S. The back is a plain gold colour - and the front is gold - with different coloured enamels. Each wee spoon has a leaf-shaped enamel-filled finial - and on the stem a tiny little flower head - all so pretty.
The NH mark is for the designer Nils Hansen. The finial of each spoon has a little enamel butterfly - and there is a wee enamel flower on the stem of each spoon.
The box is in fair condition - with a ruffled cream silk base - and flat silk lid - there is a little red stain on the lid - which being in the silk is best not rubbed - and left as is - it is not a bad mark.
Each spoon is 9.5 cm (3 3/4 inches). The combined weight of all the spoons is about 45 grams.
The quality is all in the making - and they are in such lovely condition. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
These will be posted to you with Royal Mail Recorded Post in the UK - and this will be charged at £4.95 which will be applied to your order at the checkout.
