This is a pretty little antique 1920s Scottish Monart Glass Bowl.
This is more of a standard Monart shallow dish. It is certainly a good starter piece for your collection of Monart glass.
The body colour is a mottled baby-blue glass. Around the rim, the blue colour is just slightly darker. There are lots of gold aventurines in the glass around the rim. The base is polished and there is an indented ground-down pontil mark. It has no label - but it is definitely an old Monart glass dish and is being sold as such.
As you can see from my photographs - it is an interesting piece and looks great on display. It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.
I have taken lots of images were taken for your inspection.
Dimensions: The diameter is 5 inches. The height is 1 1/4 inches.
