I always thought that these vintage tall wine glasses by Jasper Conran were some of the best contemporary glass designs.
The pattern is called Aura - and they have a minimalistic engraving of deep-angled hoops all around the bowl section. The foot and stem are undecorated but have the most stylish tall shape.
I hope that my photographs have done them justice as they were very reflective and difficult to take images of all the details.
In 1999 the British designer, Jasper Conran started a design collaboration with Stuart Crystal which is part of the Waterford Wedgwood group. The earliest Jasper Conran wine glasses are the Aura and Strata designs. They were always considered some of the UK's best-selling top-quality contemporary wine glasses.
I am selling these here as pairs. I had three pairs available on my online store NOW ONLY ONE PAIR IS LEFT (one pair sold Nov. 2023; and another sold Dec. 2023).
My crystal glasses are all in lovely vintage condition - with no chips or cracks. Each has the etched Jasper Conran on the base - indicating these are first quality and not seconds. The original Aura design was discontinued in 2014.
The size of each wine glass is 9 inches in height (22.8 cm). The diameter at the top is 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm). The foot is of the same dimensions. The length of the bowl is just over 4 inches (10 cm).
Each glass is 490 grams - they have a good bit of weight to them.
A pair would be fully insured in transit with Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery. This will cost £10 and assigned to your order at the checkout. Sadly, I would only be posting these to addresses in the UK.
