This is a sweet little blue tit wall plaque made by Beswick in the 1950s. Beswick made a wee series of three of these wee birds - each one was slightly different.
The blue tits were designed by Mr Watkins at Beswick - and produced between 1939 and 1967.
This one shows the little bird flying through the air to the right - it is fully marked on the reverse, as photographed.
It is in excellent condition with no damages. Dimensions: The length is 12 cm. The height is 11 cm.
These little birds are quite fragile and many have been damaged over the years - this makes them more hard to find in perfect condition - this is reflected in my asking price.
