This is a handy little genuine vintage WHITE glass shade. It was taken from an old house in the South Side of Edinburgh.
I have another in green listed - but just so that there is no confusion this listing is for the white one only.
It is a French-style - flared cone or "coolie hat" shape. These types of shades with very popular in French cafes in the 1920s and 1930s.
It is made of hand-blown white glass and in good vintage condition with no damage.
Great for a hall - or hung lower in an alcove from a longer ceiling flex. The shade hangs straight onto your bulb holder on a standard UK holder. Dimensions: the diameter is just under 10 inches (25 cm) and the height is 5 inches (14 cm).
