This is a more unusual piece of vintage Mdina.
It is a nice large piece - and is some 10 1/2 inches in height. Lots of weight to it - being a substantial hand-blown piece.
It is 1.8 kg unpacked. It is a more unusual shape and colour for Mdina pieces.
The shape looks back to earlier 1970s Mdina pieces designed y Michael Harris - but this is a little later in date - but looks to his highly collectable ONION SHAPE VASES for inspiration.
This one has the word Mdina 1986 etched on the base - so first quality. It has been hard to photograph this due to the reflections - but it is there!
Never seen another quite like this - a bit harder to source - and a great display piece to add to your Maltese vintage glass collection.
