This is a fine matched pair of Victorian Staffordshire Miniature Sized Dalmatians.
They are on a smaller size being 5 inches in height.
One dog (the male dog) is slightly larger than his female companion.
Both are modelled the same - and sit on the same cobalt blue and gilt bases.
They both have black painted spots and gilt collars and padlocks - the right-hand lady dog has quite a bit of rubbing to her gilding. The male dog has thicker lines painted around his eyes (all hand-painted), but otherwise no differences to the pair.
They are in excellent condition with no damages or restorations.
There are air holes on the back of each wee dog - these can be seen in my photographs.
The little 19th century Dalmatian dog models are hard to source - especially with no condition issues.
These are being sold as GENUINE antique 19th-century examples. They are NOT modern reproductions.
