This is a nice decorative antique figurine.

It is NOT a reproduction - but a genuine antique Staffordshire pastille burner dating to the late 19th century.

This is an early small size figure of Prince Albert, Consort of Queen Victoria. It dates to about 1845.

The figure shows Albert in a uniform seated in a large armchair. He has a cloak with an ermine trim on the back of the chair. It is in good antique condition and amazingly the legs of the chair are whole with no damages to them.

It is in excellent antique condition - with some natural crazing and discolouration most evident on the back of his chair. This is to be expected on such an old Staffordshire piece, now about 180 years old - and he looks just fabulous on display. My price reflects the condition.

My little figurine is only 5 1/2 inches in height - quite an unusual smaller size.

This is a rarer model - and this is reflected in my asking price. It is probably more of an item for a specialist collector of early Staffordshire models.
