This is a fine pair of boxed vintage Edinburgh Crystal Glasses.
On offer here are the two glasses in the photographs. They would be suitable for more average servings or white wine.
They are the Oban Pattern (Oban T.500-6 pattern). And are 4 5/8 inches. The rim is 2 3/4 inches in diameter and the foot is 2 1/2 diameter. They will hold 5 fl ounces (140 ml). They were made by Thos. Webb in collaboration with Edinburgh Crystal and date to the 1970s.
Please note: I have other earlier ones - which are listed unboxed and are slightly larger at 5 inches in height.
I have another (unboxed) Oban wine glasses on my website - please note that the sizes of these ones are different.
This pair are in their original retail box and have a paper label on the side of each glass. There is an Made in Edinburgh / SCOTLAND etched mark on the base.
They are both in perfect condition with no damage.
They would be perfect for smaller glasses of wine - or perhaps for port or exotic cocktails - a rusty nail would be nice!
