This is a nice pair of Edinburgh Crystal stemmed goblet-shaped white wine glasses, They would be ideal for cocktails, dessert wines, port or sherry. It probably would be too small for modern consumption of white or red wines. Tall and slender - they are just lovely! The bowl of each glass is a generous bucket shape with tall straight sides. The foot of each glass has an etched star on the base - being hand-made glassware - the size of this star is slightly different, please see my photographs.
The Star of Edinburgh pattern is a classic one that was first introduced by Edinburgh Crystal in 1948. The glasses have an etched mark on the base as photographed.
They are in excellent vintage condition with no damage to them. They have a lovely ring to them - lovely glasses! I am listing them at £20 for each glass.
They measure as follows: just over 6 1/4 inches in height. The rim has a diameter of just over 3 1/4 inches. The foot is 3 inches in diameter.
I have taken lots of photographs for your inspection.
