This is a nice pair of Edinburgh Crystal stemmed glasses.
They are classified as being champagne or tall sherbet glasses. They would be ideal for small cocktails or dessert wines. They would probably be too small for modern consumption of white or red wines.
The bowl of each glass is a bucket shape with tall straight sides. The foot of each glass has an etched star on the base.
The Star of Edinburgh pattern is a classic one that was first introduced by Edinburgh Crystal in 1948. They are in excellent vintage condition with no damage to them. They have a crisp ring to them - lovely glasses! I
am listing them at £15 for each glass as they are a little more difficult to source.
They measure as follows: just over 5 1/8 inches in height. The rim has a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. The foot is 2 3/4 inches in diameter.
I have taken lots of photographs for your inspection.
