This is a fine set of vintage 1980s Edinburgh Crystal "Claret Glasses" which are good for an average serving of white or red wine.
The pattern is a later one - first introduced in 1982. It is now a discontinued one. It is called Lomond - inspired by the peaks of Ben Lomond and the misty banks of the Loch.
There are six glasses with a square cut bowl. I have another set of Lomond glasses listed - they are slightly smaller than these ones.
This set comes in its original purple retail box - and each glass is fitted into the interior which is lined with lilac silk. So very handy for storing when not in use. Of course, each glass is in perfect condition with no damages.
My boxed set - has six glasses - the foot of each as an etched simple EDINBURGH CRYSTAL mark. They are about 6 1/8 inches in height. The rim has a diameter of 3 inches. The foot has a diameter of 2 1/2 inches.
I have taken lots of photographs for your inspection. They are listed at £10 for each glass.
I am going to have to send this to you with Royal Mail Tracked Post (Medium Parcel). They will have to have a lot of packing to make sure that they are safe in transit.
