This is a very rare and highly collectable vintage robot.

He was Made in Japan and dates from the 1970s.

He is very similar in design to the other Lambda - I robot that I have in my store.

Sadly, he does not have his original box - but he is in good display condition with no losses or damages.

Of course, he is in working condition - and is operated by two large batteries which fit in his back.

This body is a hard plastic - in red, yellow and white, colours.

His operating switch is an on-off sliding button on the front of his chest.

The thing that I love about this robot is the wee man sitting inside the visor section.

Height: about 8 inches. Width arm to arm is 6 inches. Depth is about 4 inches.

He flashes and walks and is in fine vintage condition. No missing bits or disfiguring damage.

The only condition issue is a wee bit of scuffing about the Made in Japan words on his back - on the battery compartment flap. There is also a wee fine crack to the top of of his clear visor section as photographed - only noticeable on close inspection, it is stable and no so disfiguring.

Anyway - he remains a harder to find 1970s issue - and again sadly without his original box.

Looks totally fabulous and quirky on display - I can't really find another quite like him - so hopefully, a good price for this wee rarity.

I am also listing in my store another strange and probably rarer robot of similar date and design.

He would have to be limited to posting only in the UK.
