A just love this little early 20th-century pink pig.
It is certainly a very realistic porcelain model and made in Germany about 1910.
I am not 100% sure of what my wee fellow is - I think that he may be an open-top inkwell - as he has a little white inkwell shaped reservoir in his head - and on the back is a fashioned aperture which I think might have contained a little piece of sponge which would have been wet and used as a "stamp licker" or nib cleaner.
He is certainly a fine model as you can see in my photographs - and love how his little curly tail acts as a little handle so that you can carry Mr Piggie around easily.
The figurine is in excellent condition.
My little squealer is just over 5 1/4 inches.
