These are very rare souvenir guides / booklets relating to travelling through the Panama Canal on liners owned by The Panama Pacific Line.
They are items for the specialist collector of items relating to cruise liners in the 1920s.
They both measure 23 x 10 cm
The green booklet has a glorious Art Deco cover showing a liner in the harbour.
The booklet is entitled: Panama Pacific Line to New York / Via Acapulco, Mexico, Panama and Havana. Largest Steamers in the Coast to Coast Trade. RATES OF PASSAGE.
The sheet folds right out and gives General Information - and a vast variety of fares and standards of service that you might expect on the journey.
This is a very rare survivor and is in excellent condition - it measures.
The other trifold booklet is much thicker with about 24 pages - and again it folds out to a larger size.
It is entitled: My Trip Through the Panama Canal from the Atlantic to the Pacific (Panama-Pacific Line Brochure). New York to California
Generally in good condition - given that these are nearly 90 years old. There is a little tear along the edge of the spine to the front cover to the left-hand side. It remains stable though if handled with care. There are black and white photographs throughout.
