This is a very rare little "top hat" shaped pot that dates to the early 20th Century. It is classified as a little meat pot. I would imagine for serving up little servings of potted meats or meat pastes or pates.
It is a very sweet little miniature size and is printed with the Willow pattern as annotated on the base. It was made in the 1920s or 1930s by Royal Doulton.
It is a miniature size being only 2 1/2 inches in height and has a diameter at the top of 3 inches.
These little Doulton "Welsh Hat Shape" pots are hard to source and this is reflected in my price This is a very fair one for this wee antique pot. It is in excellent condition with no damages or stains.
