This is a lovely piece of British Art Glass.
It dates to around the later 1930s - and was made by Stevens and Williams / Royal Brierley.
The vase is a clear mainly pale emerald grey shade - which has a swirl of kingfisher blue running through it from top to bottom.
I love the shape with the neck which flares right out at the top rim. It is wider than it is tall.
It has been hand-blown and there is a large polished pontil on the base.
This type of glass is called their Rainbow series.
This one comes from my own personal collection - and it has no damages. It looks great on display.
Height is 5 3/4 inches. The diameter at the top is 6 1/2 inches. Diameter at the base is 3 1/2 inches.
