This is a fine old Art Deco 1930s glass plafonnier lampshade.
It is more unusual and collectable larger larger-sized glass shade. It has a diameter of 16 1/2 inches and a height of 6 1/2 inches.
It comes with three chains each 28 inches in length - but these could be shortened if you required a shorter hang. The chains are not original to the shade - but are good-quality replacement ones (as photographed).
It is an opaque white colour - which is speckled in the glass with tutti-frutti colours. It pastel glass flecks are so pretty. This one is particularly nice, and the speckling is very busy with subtle mottling.
It is called a goldfish bowl shade - and is also known by its cheeky nickname as a "flycatcher" shade.
This one is in good vintage condition with no damages of any kind. Given it is a much larger size and has such pretty glass sprinkles inside, it is a little more expensive.
The shade would also need a wee fitting with a hook for you to hang the three shade chains from your ceiling rose - very easy to source at a DIY store or online.
It will be sent to you in the UK using Parcelforce24 postage. This is a tracked service. This will cost just over - it will have to be packed in a large box with oodles of bubble wrap etc to keep safe in transit.
