This is a lovely delicate little Art Deco demi-tasse cup and saucer.
It dates to the 1930s and was made by Paragon by appointment to Queen Mary.
This is a very rare pattern called Hortensia.
THIS IS MY LAST CUP AND SAUCER IN MY ONLINE STORE - ALL THE OTHER ONES NOW SOLD.
This pattern is very pretty in design and has a very 30s country cottage feel and design.
The cup has little hand-painted hydrangea plants on the side and interior - with big pink and blue flowers.
Each cup and saucer is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup is 2 1/4 inches in height and with a diameter of 3 inches.
The saucer is 4 3/4 inches in diameter - so very pretty cabinet cups or for little delicate cups of tea.
The glaze has a warm yellow tint to it - which makes the body of each cup and saucer more of a cream colour.
It is in excellent damage free condition.
