This is an early 1930s storage jar made by TG Green Cornishware
It has the early 1930s Green Church Mark - and also has much rarer lettering for contents: WHOLE RICE. The lettering is under the glaze.
The little storage jar is in very good vintage condition - no chips, cracks or staining to the pottery.
There is a little roughness to the base rim (in the making) but a minor issue.
Not 100% sure if the lid is original to this pot - but it came to me with this lid - just not such a perfect fit - but often they didn't fit perfectly - so nothing to worry about (see photos).
It is a smaller storage jar: measuring some 4 1/2 inches in height - and with a diameter at the base of just over 3 1/4 inches.
In excellent condition - given it is now about 90 years old.
The price reflects that it is an early issue and a rare one.
