This is a very rare vintage Royal Doulton coffee set (or perhaps tea set) dating to around the 1930s.
It is in excellent vintage condition - and is very delicate - so amazing that it has survived with no damages. It is more of a cabinet set - than something that you might use on a daily or regular basis.
It consists of the following (totally 16 pieces):
6 Demitasse Coffee Cups are 2 ¼ inches in height with a diameter of 2 ¼ inches.
The saucers are 4 ¼ inches in diameter.
The sugar bowl is 2 3/8 inches in height and is just under 4 inches in diameter.
The milk jug is 4 ¼ inches in height.
The Coffee Pot is 8 ¾ inches in height and from handle to spout it is 5 inches.
Unpacked it is 1.5 kg.
This set is very rare and highly collectable.
It is listed at a fair price for this particular set.
There are sets available online in a fitted box - with silver Mappin and Webb teaspoons which retail with specialist dealers for about £400.
Sadly, I would not be able to post this set outside of the UK.
