Aren't little Baby's Plates always the cutest things?
This is a 1940s chunky ceramic Baby's Plate - and in excellent condition for its age.
As you can see - there are no chips, cracks or crazing to the glaze - and the old gilding around the base is still present with only very minimal amounts of any rubbing.
The central area of the bowl is decorated with images of little Dutch boys and girls shown in their National Costume. There is a little rubbing to the colours here and there - but again quite minimal and of no real concern.
A very unusual nursery plate, and in nice clean condition with attractive imagery from childhood.
The Baby Bowl has a diameter of 7 ¾ inches and a height of just under 1 ¾ inches.
It is very chunky and has a good bit of weight to it - please check if I can post to you outside of the UK.
