This is an interesting vintage Sylvac style snub nose rabbit. It dates to the 1940s and seems to be made in the same way as my large olive-coloured snub nose rabbit.
This wee bunny is probably slip cast from a mould. The walls making up the figurine are thinner and a little more delicate than you might find on Sylvac or Denby issues.
It is a vibrant sugar pink colour with dark brown painted eyes.
Mr Bunny measures just over 5 inches in height. It has no damage, chips, or cracks.
I am not sure who the maker is, as many British companies at this time copied the 1930s Sylvac Models. This one is not marked Sylvac on the base so it is probably one of those derivative models. It is however a harder-to-find issue and the pink colour is always keenly sought-after. It looks great on display. It is priced accordingly.
