This fabulous pattern is a very 1950s atomic, iconic space age design.
The pattern is called Orbit - after the little Festival of Britain style abstract motif.
This listing is for the one large serving platter - but I do have two available here.
The dish has five raised compartment sections - where you might place separate nibbles or savouries.
One edge is in over-glaze glossy red - and we have the Sputnik-inspired Orbit motif to the edge of the platter.
Both with an eggshell cream matt glaze. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or staining.
My lovely dish is 12 inches in diameter.
The Orbit pattern is now rather hard to find - especially for these larger pieces.
It would have to be UK posting only. The postage quoted here is for a medium sized parcel with Royal Mail - as the plate is a bit of a larger size and we need to pack carefully to avoid damage in transit.
