This is such a charming little porcelain plate from Peynet's "The Lovers" series - this one is called Shower of Hearts.
Height is 5 ¼ inches. Width is 5 ¾ inches
My lovely decorative plate was made in Germany in the 1950s. Love is definitely in the air in this design. The two lovers shelter under an umbrella and around them fall raindrops in the shape of love hearts. The design and colours are just lovely.
A great wee plate that is in good vintage condition with no damages.
