This is a fine and delicate vintage silver bracelet. It was made by the celebrated Scottish silversmith, Robert Allison. It is rare to find him making pretty bracelets, and it is more usual to find him creating stinning knotwork broochs.
It is very fine in its creation. The bracelet has been created from nine separate panels featuring a lion rampant on shield. These are all linked together. The bracelet is closed by a little ring and hoop fitting at each end, as photographed.
Allison has taken great pride in this piece as every shied has a hallmark on the back and Allison's initials. In the centre there is a date letter which I think looks like a Gothic C for the year 1958.
It would fit a wrist approximately 6 3/4 inches in circumference. The bracelet is 7 1/4 inches in length, including the hoops to the end of each. This delicated bracelet is more probably for a slender wrist - or for a younger person or a person of more petite stature. I have taken this into account with my pricing.
It is in lovely shiny condition with no damages.
It will be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked Parcel. This will be applied to your order at the checkout. Please select a signed for service so that the bracelet can be fully insured in transit.
