This is a very collectable vintage mid-century tin for storing your dog's biscuit in.
It is made for Spratt's biscuits - their logo is on the lid of the box - and takes the form of the word "Spratts" - the word is written to resemble the shape of a Scottie Dog.
The tin is generally a pale blue shade - and decorated with a pattern of the silhouette of various dog breeds.
There is a decorative shield on the front - which reads: My Faithful Friend's Own Biscuit Box.
In other shield's on each side are images of a fox terrier and a spaniel.
Dimensions: 8 inches high; 4 inches wide and with a depth of 3 inches.
It is mid-20th century in date.
It is in good vintage condition - as shown in my photographs - the only issue is one tiny wee shallow dent to one side (I have photographed in extreme close up and looks worse in my images than it does in "real life"
A nice example of this much sought after and hard to find vintage tin.
