This cute little paperweight was made by Vasart Glass in the 1950s. There is no maker's cane to be seen in this weight, and again this is consistent with what you might find in Vasart examples.
The paperweight is star-shaped and it has a rounded crown. The shape of has eight little angled points all around. There is a Royal blue ground section. The decoration conists of rings of millefioir canes in peppermint, blue and dusky pink. There are eight latticino ribbon spokes. There is the customary Vasast pontil mark on the base.
The diameter at the widest point is 2 1/2 inches and the height is just over an inch.
There are no damages or scratches to the glass. Any white marks that you might see on the weight in my photographs are not on the paperweight itself and are not scratching- but are merely reflections caused by the light when taking the snaps. It was a bit tricky to photograph.
The weight will be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked - this will be applied to your order at the checkout.
