This is a collectable blue and white porcelain trio set first produed for Arabia in 1965. The pattern is called Ali. The blue and white pattern is an iconic Finnish one and was designed by Raija Uosikkinen. It was inspired by traditional geometric and floral folk art designs; with a hint the oriental, hence the title "Ali". The shape of the tablewares was designed by Kaarina Aho and Kaj Franck.
The blue colour was made between 1961 and 1973. The pattern was the last one at the Arabia factory that used a printing technique from a copperplate.
These Arabia tablewares are hightly sought after. I am listing these are a trio at £55. I am lucky to have a total of 12 trios in stock at the moment. All of them as in perfect condition. I have take photographs of them all together - they do look quite stunning. It is not so often you will find so many trios together.
The price of £55 is for one trio - and it is a rather fair one for this wee set.
A single trio will be sent with Royal Mail Tracked, Small Parcel. Any multiple purchases will have any postage payments refunded. We do not make profit from postint to you.
