This is a lovely piece of vintage mid-century Cornish pottery. It is a tall cylindrical vase.
It was from a range designed by Bill and Maggie Fisher at Celtic Pottery, Newlyn in Cornwall.
It is the popular Phoenix bird design. There are the abstracted birds on each side of the vase, as photographed.
This is a classic piece of mid-century British art pottery, and it is always a popular design with collectors.
Dimensions: Height is 6 3/4 inches. The base is 3 inches and the rim is 3 inches in diameter.
CONDITION: It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. These pieces of Cornish vintage pottery are not becoming highly sought after.
