This is a collectable little mid-century set of Mills Moor cutlery. The set was made in Sheffield, England. These are much sought after for formal dining and are of the highest quality. They date to the 1960s and were acclaimed as great design items by the Design Centre, London.
They always fetch good prices.
On offer here is a boxed set of fish knives and forks. There are twelve pieces in total; so a place setting for six diners.
These are in their original box and have never been used so are in excellent vintage condition.
This set has a nice shiny stainless steel finish and walnut handles. Each piece is stamped with the Mills Moore mark on the metal section.
The box measures: 14 x 9 ¼ inches. The forks are 7 ½ inches in length and the knives are 8 ½ inches.
