This is one of Villeroy and Boch's most popular patterns. It was inspired by Mexican Folk Art and designed by Christine Reuter. It first went into production in 1967.
The makers of these Acapulco tablewares were Villeroy & Boch, and they have their blue Luxembourg mark on the base.
This listing here is for one set of six charming little egg cups and their oblong plate or stand - as shown in my photographs.
The egg cups in this pattern are harder items to find. They are a matching set and come complete with their original oblong plate. The plate is plain in the middle where you stand your egg cups - but it has a decorative border all around the edge.
Dimensions: The height is 1 1/2 inches and the diameter is 2 inches.
They are in perfect condition with a nice glossy surface. Please see my other wee group of tablewares in the same attractive pattern.
