This is hard to find large lidded casserole dish.
It was made in the 1960s by the Norwegian company Figgjo Flint, as part of their Turi range.
It features the highly collectable and much sought-after pattern Clupea - or Herring Design.
Running around the outside is a pretty design that features a shoal of little stylized blue fishes - they are shown in an upright position - and with a slightly atomic pattern made up of what looks like flower heads and onions. The same onion pattern is picked up on the lid - where a ring of yellow plants is seen.
The tureen or casserole dish very substantial and it measures some 5 1/2 inches in height and is about 9 inches in diameter. It is a rarer item of tableware in this fetching pattern.
It weighs 1.8 kg. Due to a combination of size and weight - it will have to be sent to you with Parcelforce48 - this will cost about £10.
It is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
