These vintage ceramics from the Turi range are now highly collectable. The pattern is very rare.
Dating to the 1960s, the pattern was designed by Turi Gramdstadt Oliver, who initially trained in ceramics at the Norwegian Academy of Craft and Art Industry and then at the Crafts School in Bergen. She subsequently worked as a designer in the Figgjo Flint factory from 1960 to 1980.
She created many of their most famous and loved designs. After leaving Figgjo Flint, she concentrated on textile designs.
On offer here are some spares. We have these three dessert plates in the rarer Barcarole pattern. All pieces are in pretty good condition with no chips or cracks. There are some little scuff marks to the white surface of the plate. This is only really seen in a raking light.
Each plate is 9 1/2 inches in diameter.
