This is a lovely little solid silver-footed bowl or shallow bon-bon dish.
It is sculptural in form - and it will look just stunning as a simple display piece.
It is a vintage Scottish Silver dish - which is hallmarked for 1962, Edinburgh. It also has maker's marks: R.R.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no scratches, dents, and no inscriptions.
It is very shiny - and as such offers a lot of reflections on the photographs - I hope that they the bowl justice!
It is a more unique and unusual footed dish. The bowl shape is very minimalistic in design - but where this is a more special piece is in the fabulous feet on the base.
There are three feet in total - and these are geometric, nearly diamond, in shape. They are certainly very space-age 1960s in style - the holes reminiscant of sculptures by Hepworth or Henry Moore.
It is a nice size - the bowl section is just over 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The overall height (including feet) is just over 1 3/4 inches.
