This is a lovely stylish set of 20th Century Scottish drinking glasses - of more diminutive size and perfect for liqueurs or shots.

This is collectable "space age" set is a lovely subtle brown colour called Peat and the design is called Stroma. The set was designed by Domhnall O'Broin in 1962.

This range was highly successful and its stylish minimal forms look just as good today as the day they were made.

The Stroma design is a little harder to find today - indeed the set was discontinued and no longer produced as far back as 1972.

The set on offer here consists of six matching glasses. The design is obviously influenced by Scandinavian glassware (Holmegaard glassware by Per Lutken springs to mind) and these would look great on a rosewood or teak sideboard or Ladderex cabinet in your interior.

Glasses are 4 inches in height. The diameter of the foot is 1 3/4 inches.

All pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.

I also have some larger grey-blue glasses (have photographed one on this listing to show the difference in heights) as well as a complete set of glasses plus the decanter.

My asking price reflects the rarity of Stroma pieces - and is indeed a very fair one.
