This is a pair of mid-century Scandinavian dessert plates. They date to the 1960s and were made by Rorstrand and designed by Sigrid Richter (as annotated on the base).
I love this pattern which is called Eden. It features a large stylised sliced blue apple. The apple is surrounded by oodles of little abstract green leaves.
They are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks - one has a light scratch to the surface to the area of the right-hand side of the blue apple. You can hardly see these and only if you tip the plate to a raking light and look carefully. This is reflected in my reduced price for these. They still all display well and the scratches are very slight confined to the surface glaze and not the pattern itself. I have taken a close up image of this issue with the plate tilted to bright natural light.
These plates are highly collectable and my price is a fair one for this most sought after pattern.
