This is a stunning vintage West German vase dating to the 1960s.

It was made by Scheurich and is model number 203-26

It is a nice large height - being just over 10 inches high.

It is a more unusual Scheurich piece - with a matt terracotta colour glaze on the outside - which is decorated with three bands of zig-zags of white glossy glaze - which has been liberally been applied by hand.

The decoration reminds me a little of Poole pieces from the same period in the Atlantis range.

The interior contrasting wonderfully with the exterior colour - inside with have a glorious contracting glossy dark turquoise colour.

Unpacked it 900 grams in weight.

This is certainly a rarer piece of West German pottery - and it is being offered at a very fair price.

Due to the size - this will have to be sent in a Royal Mail medium size parcel box - this will push up your postage costs a little.
