This is a lovely genuine vintage Whitefriars Cinnamon "Hooped" vase.
It was designed by Geoffrey Baxter and is Shape Number 9680. It was issued as part of the textured range which launched in 1967. It is a fine piece of Whitefriars and pieces are quickly snapped up when they come on the market.
The textured finish on the exterior is nice and pronounced all around. There is the typical large polished dimple pontil mark on the base - and also an original paper sticker, as photographed. The glass is a dark toffee brown colour called Cinnamon.
It is a genuine 1960s Whitefriars Hooped vase - and sold as such by me. I have taken lots of photographs for your inspection.
It is nice and tall being 11 1/2 inches in height. It has a diameter of 5 inches. It is in perfect condition with no damage, It is a heavy piece weight about 2 kg unpacked.
