This is a lovely vintage model of a horse, probably a Shire type horse which would work on a farm. Ee is more stocky in form with large hooves. It dates to the mid-1970s.
It is a fine piece from the Kosta Boda glass from the Zoo Series which features stylised animals. It made of clear glass. They often have polished flat backs. This stylised horse was designed by Bertil Vallien.
In excellent vintage condition with no damages.
The figurine is just over 4 inches in height. The width is 4 3/4 inches and the depth is 1 1/4 inches. The detailing and modelling are very detailed and certainly beautifully rendered.
