This is an attractive and very large 1970s Mdina paperweight. It is a magnum size and has an engraved signature to the base: Mdina.
It has a lovely colours with melded swirls of ochre, green and blue glass. I have taken lots of images for your inspection. The colours in this Mdina weight are just so lovely and they blend in in such a subtle and attractive way. I hope that this comes out in my photographs. Any white flashes are reflections and not on the weight.
Dimensions: Height is 4 inches. And the diameter at the widest point is 4 1/2 inches. The weight unpacked is a stonking 2.2 kg grams - that would just tip the weight into the medium parcel size.
