This is a lovely piece of vintage 1960s or early 1970s Mdina Glass. It was made on the Island of Malta. It is also signed to the base: Mdina
It is a tall cylindrical bottle vase and has its original matching ball stopper. It is a more unusual one. The colour is called Sea and Sand. My bottle vase is more of a plain turquoise colour - with only dashes of the ochre yellow running through it to represent the sands around the Island of Malta.
This one is more unusual as a bottle vase, as the main body is covered with a network of trails in the same colour of glass as the body section. The big globular stopper is original to the bottle - and it has a touch more trails of ochre in it.
Dimensions: Overall height including stopper is 11 1/2 inches. The height of the bottle itself is 9 inches. Length of the stopper is 3 1/2 inches. The diameter of the stopper is 2 1/4 inches.
