This is a fabulous space-age design - a stylish clear plastic ice bucket.
It is very st; stylish and I love how you can see all your ice cubes inside - you could also pop in little plastic-coloured flowers with your ice cubes to crank up the funky factor to 11.
The bucket has great minimalistic lines. There a fine chrome metal band running around the base and around the rim as a decorative trim. It comes complete with its original good-quality stainless steel ice tongs.
It sits on the bar top and is great for chilling your bottle of Prosecco or Pimms for summer cocktails.
It is 7 3/4 inches in height (including knop on the lid) and with a diameter at the widest point is 6 1/4 inches
Unpacked it is 750 grams. Packed up will be about 1.5 kg
Lovely futuristic design - in great vintage condition. Sadly, with no maker's marks on it, but probably British in origin.
Lovely and clean - no nasty scratches, discolouration or smells etc - as nice as you might expect to find.
I have owned this particular piece for many years - and never used it - as "kept it for good". A fine piece of mid-century space age design - would look great in a Scandi-modern interior.
