This is a very pretty piece of hand-crafted amphora shape Isle of Wight glass vase.
It is part of the Summer Fruits Range. It is has a polished clear base and the original gold Isle of Wight Label. The black writing on a square gold label was used between 1992 - 1995.
The pieces in this range was first introduced by Timothy and Jonathan in 1993. This is a pretty cranbery amphora design. It has lots of rainbow speckles inclusions and fine ribbon trails throughout. The surface has a light mottled texture with a subtle gold lustre finish. This is a particularly attractive example.
It is in perfect condition with no damages.
Dimensions: The height is 5 1/2 inches. The diameter at the widest is 5 1/4 inches. The flared rim is 3 1/2 inches and the base is 1 1/2 inches. Unpacked it weighs just over 800 grams.
