This is a collectable piece of mid-century Italian glass. It is a large "genie" bottle vase with three graduated bulbous sections of scarlet red glass decorated with a swirl of white.
Sadly, it is lacking its original white glass stopper. I have held onto this for a number of years. I believe that you are able to buy reproduction white resin stoppers which look the part on display but are not perfect glass replacements. I have priced by genei bottle to reflect that it is missing the glass stopper.
It is made in the region of Empoli in Italy and is commonly assumed to have been made or retailed by the Alrose company.
