This is a highly collectable and rare survivor from the 1939 World's Fair held in New York.
It is a rare delicate textile - and it is remarkable that it has survived in such fine condition.
It measures just over 11 inches square - and would look fabulous framed on display - or as an addition to your collection of World's Fair souvenirs.
The handkerchief shows images of the most notable buildings on the fairground in each corner: The Hayden Planetarium; The Soldiers and Sailors Monument; the LIttle Church Around the Corner and the Arante Tomb. New York 1939 is noted in the center.
In nice clean condition with no tears or rips.
