On offer here is the single dog figurine as photographed.
I also have a matched pair on offer in my store sites.
Mr Dalmatain is a smaller size being just under 5 inches in height.
He is in excellent condition with no damages or restoration.
The figure has a wee firing crack (in the making, and then glazed over) where the main body of the doggie meets with the white oval base.
The dog's long legs are whole with no hairlines.
A finely modelled example - with more delicate painting.
He sits on an oval base - the top of which is white and the edge is a cobalt blue.
Nice gilding to the chain and padlock.
There is no airhole on the back of this dog - but there is a little pierced hole (as photographed) on the base - to let the air out in the firing.
These little 19th century Dalmatian dog models are hard to source - especially with no condition issues.
This one is being sold as a GENUINE antique 19th-century example. It is NOT a modern reproduction.
I would be happy to send internationally, please ask for a postage quote outside of the UK.
