This is a very little sweet item for collector's of vintage etui or beauty novelties or collectables.
This is a little evening purse or pocket sized portable manicure set - above the width of a lipstick and twice as long.
The little case is made of a vintage 1930s hard plastic - I think a ivory coloured bakelite which has darkened naturally with age - it is not a natural item and does not come from any animal.
There is a little cap which screws off and allows you to see a selection of little items for your emergency manicure inside. These are made of bright steel (nice and shiny) and each has a little post which allows you to slot each component part into a little hole at the other end to make an instrument - the main case, then acting as the handle.
The tools are as follows: a teeny weeny pair of scissors, a nail file, and a little blade and ?cuticle tool.
In generally excellent vintage condition - except for a little loss to the thread inside the case - which is only reveal when you removed the cap - and not on display (as photographed). This issue is reflected in my asking price - these portable manicure sets are nearly 100 years old - and are becoming hard to find.
